Dear Sir or Madam,
One and a half years after the start of the Russian war of aggression, German security policy has changed significantly with regard to concrete support for Ukraine. However, the debate on strategic conclusions drawn for the European security order is still in its infancy. What is clear is that the EU and its member states must jointly do for the security on the European continent. But how exactly should this be done?
What role should Europe play in an increasingly multipolar world? How can we improve to secure peace and security in Europe in the long term? How can we shape a climate-neutral transformation at the European level so that we secure prosperity, good jobs, fair wages and make our economies more resilient? And how do we strengthen social cohesion when internal and external threats to democracy aim to divide our continent?
We want to explore these questions at the Tiergarten Conference "Zeitenwende: Chance for a Secure Europe?" and invite you to discuss them with us.
