From Trier into the World: Karl Marx, his ideas and their legacy down to the present

Karl Marx’s birthplace, built around 1727 as a baroque residential home, hosts an exhibition dedicated to the man, the nineteenth century critic of society and capitalism as well as tracing the global legacy of his ideas into the present day. The museum is open 359 days a year and offers a vast variety of events on contemporary history and current topics, including the foundation of the Weimar Republic, digitalisation, good labour, etc.
