On the occasion of the International Day on Climate Change, we asked some of the participants about their expectations for the international climate conference.
Valentina de Marco from Argentina is the coordinator for alliances and international projects of the network "Red Argentina de Municipios frente al Cambio Climático (RAMCC)". The network supports municipalities in developing strategies on environmental policy and climate protection.
The Mexican journalist Maria del Pilar Martinez works for the daily newspaper "El Economista. Her thematic focus is on the labour market in Mexico and Latin America, employment policy, labour legislation and environmental policy.
Gabriela Herrera Malig from Chile is Executive President of the NGO CEUS. The organisation supports young people to articulate and engage politically on sustainability, the climate crisis and environmental protection.

As president, she chairs the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
