Elisabeth Bollrich studierte an der Universität Leipzig (Afrikanistik) und an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (Seminar für Ländliche Entwicklung). Nach ihrem Studium arbeitete sie u.a. für die GIZ und UNCCD zum Thema Umweltpolitik und Landmanagement. Seit 2012 ist sie bei der FES und war 2013 bis 2014 als Projektassistentin im FES-Büro Kenia. Seit 2014 ist sie Referentin für das Östliche Afrika; betreut die Landesprojekte Äthiopien, Kenia, Ruanda, Uganda und Südsudan. Sie ist Ansprechpartnerin für die klimapolitische und die wirtschaftspolitische Arbeit der FES in Subsahara-Afrika.
