Adam Tooze is a British economic historian. After studying economics at the University of Cambridge and the Free University of Berlin and completing a PhD in economic history at the London School of Economics, Tooze taught modern economic history at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, for many years from 1996. From 2009 to 2015, he was Professor of Modern German History at Yale University and Director of International Security Studies at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies. Since 2015, he has been Professor of Contemporary History and Director of the European Institute at Columbia University in New York. His numerous studies and books on German history and economic history have garnered many awards. Among other things, he is the winner of the Hans Matthöfer Award for Economic Journalism 2019, which he received from the Hans and Traute Matthöfer Foundation at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation for his book "Crashed – How a Decade of Financial Crisis Changed the World". He also regularly comments on important economic policy developments with his online newsletter (Chartbook), reaching a large and diverse audience.

Armand Zorn is a German management consultant and politician (SPD). He studied political science and history at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Sciences Po in Paris, and political and administrative science at the University of Konstanz. From 2014 to 2015, Zorn also earned a degree in International Economics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna and completed a master's degree in business law at Martin Luther University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, graduating with an LL.M. oec. in 2016. From 2015 to 2021, he worked as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH. He also worked as a consultant and project manager at GIZ in 2021, focusing on the introduction of sustainable business practices with the help of new digital technologies in development cooperation. In the Bundestag election of 26 September 2021, he received a direct mandate in his Bundestag constituency Frankfurt am Main I and has been a member of the German Bundestag since October 2021. There he is, among other things, a full member of the Finance and Digital Committees as well as a substitute member of the Committee on the Affairs of the European Union. He is also the deputy spokesperson for financial policy for the SPD parliamentary group.
Maike Rademaker has been a freelance economic and environmental journalist for print, online and radio since 2019. Before that, she was an editor at the Financial Times Deutschland for twelve years and was head of public relations at the Federation of German Trade Unions.
Katharina Utermöhl has been Senior European Economist in the Economics Department of Allianz SE since 2014. Previously, she worked as an economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit and Roubini Global Economics in London and New York, among others. Ms Utermöhl holds a Bachelor's degree in2 International Economics & Management from Bocconi University and a Master's degree in International Finance & Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
