On 10 June 2024 at 7pm, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung kindly invites you to its public panel discussion on Ukraine’s Recovery in the European Context with Svenja Schulze, German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development and Oleksandr Kubrakov (tbc), Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, moderated by Sonja Zekri, Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The event will take place at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in 10785 Berlin, Hiroshimastraße 28.

The public event takes place within the framework of a larger side conference on “Resilience, Reconstruction, Prosperity: Perspectives for Ukraine’s Economy” on 10 June 2024, the day before the start of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.

The side conference will discuss ways in which Ukraine’s immediate economic needs, strategies for reconstruction and its long-term economic perspectives can be aligned while promoting creative thinking about how to reach the shared goal of achieving a prosperous, stable, socially just and democratic future for Ukraine.


Please note that the sessions during the day, however, are invitation-only for in-person participation. There will be a live stream in English and Ukrainian of the evening event here
