The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was founded 50 years ago. To honour this event Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung invited Le Luong Minh, Secretary General of ASEAN, Ina Lepel, Head of the Department Asia and Pacific, Federal Foreign Office, and Niels Annen, Member of the German Bundestag and SPD-Spokesman of Foreign Affairs.
